My husband and 2 kids along with my sister and her family went on this tour. We are from Interior Alaska and have gold mine tours there as well, but it was interesting to learn about the different types of gold mining in the Southeast. It was cool (literally) to go into the mine shaft. Kids found it neat to dress in a hard hat.
